Area Manager Mid-South Industrial Services 2005- 2009

Provide project management services for this division of Systems Contracting in

supplying the piping installation for the steel mill being built by SeverCorr in

Columbus, MS. Also in charge of the operation of the fabrication shop that we erected

adjacent to the SeverCorr plant site. Also built and started, a “state of the art”

machine shop, which was installed next to the fabrication shop. I am also responsible

for the performance and profitability of new piping construction and the fabrication

and machine shops.

Plant Manager M-7 Technologies 2002- 2004

Started and operated machine shop that provided value added services for various

manufacturing companies. Responsible for the company’s performance and

profitability.

Senior Account Administrator Taft Contracting Co., Inc. 2001- 2002

Responsible for Project Management, Contract Management, Safety, Document

Control, Claim Research and Development, and Continual Comparison of bid versus

actual installation Conditions for all of the company’s major projects.

President Quality Hill, Inc. – Houston, TX 1999 –2001

Industrial furnace company that custom designed and built furnaces and ovens for

heat-treating applications.

The specialized designs were used for thermal processing in the oil, plastic, wood,

and metals industry.

Senior Vice-President Philip Services Corp./D&L, Inc. Pittsburgh, PA

$50 million per year construction management and construction engineering company

Directly responsible for: Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Project Management,

Construction Management, and Accounting.

In charge of design, build, and start up of several green field steel mill projects;

covered construction management, construction engineering purchase orders,

scheduling and document control

Also headed the Mill Services Group of Philip Services with annual revenues of $150

million. This group provided scrap processing and waste removal services & site

clean up

Chief Engineer New Jersey Steel Co. Sayreville, NJ

In charge of all maintenance and capital projects

Purchased, installed, and started new Melt shop and casting facility

Designed, built, and installed custom 12 bar epoxy coating system

Rebuilt plant process water system

Wrote SOP’s for furnaces, ladle furnaces, and casters

General Manager - Mini Mill Division Gladwin Corp., Div. of Westinghouse

Electric- Taylor, MI

Established a new company division to generate work with Mini-Mills

Provided $7 million annual sales to corporation

Responsible for sales, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of Continuous

Casting Machines and related mill equipment

Responsible for profit and loss.

Developed an electromagnetic valve for the flow regulation of molten metals.

Melt Shop Engineer

General Foreman – Casting North Star Steel Co. St. Paul, MN

Directed modernization of the refractory department. Reduced staffing from 22 men

to 13 with improved performance

Served as primary contractor for a four million dollar melt shop upgrade.

Responsible for the operation of two, three-strand casting machines (Sixty

employees)
