Caterpillar is the largest maker of construction and mining equipment, diesel and
natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines in the world. Caterpillar has been
building world infrastructure and thus helped to drive positive and sustainable
change on every continent.
Caterpillar SME project deals with expanding the Sales
Model number from its current size of 4 or 5 positions to 9 positions in all COBOL
programs, JCLs and files. This demands changes to program in error handling as a
consequence of expansion. Developed new module as part of application enhancement.

The project also involves modification of impacted programs to expand the sales
model number in the existing files so that they could be used for testing the
impacted programs.
Responsibilities:
• Performed Impact analysis/requirements analysis in a timely and qualitative
