various developmental test programs for equipment to giving assurance about the

As Customer Support Quality Engineer, manage overall quality activities and
continuous improvement programs to support overall quality/business objective on
behalf of the OE Service Division for various customers like General Motors, Ford
and Chrysler. Establish quality organization structure: develop quality department to
support all quality activities with the OES organization including customer support,
supplier development, part approval process and quality assurance. Present monthly,
quarterly and yearly reports to executive management (Exec VP, Product Line
Managers and Directors) on the status of business metrics/scorecards, quality
initiatives, continuous improvement and results of customer satisfaction.
• Developed and implemented problem solving activities on quality issues
with a focus on preventive and systemic actions as it relates to OES
customers resulting in a cost avoidance of $250k/year.
• Developed and implemented New Defective Return Process which
resulting in a $265k/year cost savings.
As Senior Quality Engineer, served as technical quality liaison between production
facilities globally and customers such as General Motors, Ford and Chrysler.
Provided quality records with detail problem description to facilitate timely
resolutions to the customer quality issues with an effort to avoid formal customer
complaints. Identified process deficiencies resulting in customer complaints and
provided recommendation for corrective actions while implementing Best Practices
across Divisions.
• Lead identification of corrective actions to eliminate top WFCC issues
by focusing on areas that are shared across sites and Divisions to
improve overall performance. Customer complaints were reduced by
more than 56% in one year.
• 2006 Value Award Recipient; drove the resolution to customer
complaints to eliminate problems instead of simply resolving the
immediate issue while strengthening the integrity of the corporation
commitment to excellence.

As Senior Program Manager, strategically coordinate assignments of cross-functional
teams in new product introduction and qualification, PPAP, APQP, Gage
Management, SPC Program, Vendor Certification, etc. Perform program management
and focus on identifying process improvement opportunities that includes process
variation reductions, process controls and cost containments.
• Release (4) new private battery lines which included 246 sku’s that
contributed to the corporation nearly $30 billion dollars in sales.
• Launch Tri-lingual labeling for Heavy Duty battery customers which
increase sales by 25%.
As Senior Process Engineer, provide technical support for molding tools and
equipment for Plastic Molding Operation which included capability studies and
problem solving. Responsible for supplier development programs; established
supplier selection, supplier rating, supplier improvement and supplier monitoring
process. Select and negotiate several major commodity suppliers.
• Standardize tooling design to reduce cost, lead time and quick mold
change adaptability resulting in a 20% reduction in tooling cost and a
15% reduction in tool procurement lead time.
