Enhanced Pfizer’s ability to submit FDA-compliant documents by collaborating with partner to

deliver user-friendly data entry application. This was a SharePoint application that would
allow users to submit documents. These documents were validated, internally approved, and
eventually were sent to FDA or EMEA for approval. Worked on the functional and technical
specifications documents. Created several class libraries in Visual Studio 2008 (net 3.5) using
C#. Established connection and wrote queries against the SQL 2005 database. Used web
controls, validation controls and used Cache objects to maximize the performance of data
transfer. Used UML to show a high level picture.
Involved in testing the SharePoint application with the team. Ensured the testing team was

referring to functional and technical specifications. Prepared the training manual with the help
of a tester. Communicated back and forth with the testers and users.
EBay: Feb 2008 – Oct 2008
Designed PERL and net applications for eBay that identified and displayed fraudulent

activities. Created Statement of Work, supervised two programmers, and led frequent client
meetings. Coded a PERL application that would display fraudulent activities on a web page
using HTML and JavaScript. Later this application was redesigned using Microsoft Net/C# 2.0.
Designed several class modules in net 2.0 and created a few web services using C#. Coded
two classes to read and write to SQL database. Coded one class library for validation
purposes. Designed a Microsoft C# Console application to test some data after receiving user
input from the console application. The asp net application read data from a few XML files.
County in Tucson: July 2007 – Nov 2007
Successfully developed vendor procurement project for the County in Arizona, resulting in

more efficient hiring practices and enhanced communication with vendors. Wrote statement
of work with the help of an analyst, mentored development team, and wrote detailed
technical specifications. The technical specifications included writing of ERD diagrams and
flow charts.
Coded the application using ASP Net/C# 2.0. Followed the technical specifications with the

team to design several screens. Worked on the presentation layer, ADO.net, class libraries,
and created Web Services. Used session objects and cookies to store data to be transferred
between web forms. Used a web farm. Used SQL Server to save the session objects to ensure
scalability.
The net application wrote temporary data to SQL 2005 database. The key data was

permanently saved in Oracle and was transferred to Oracle on a periodically. Worked closely
with the DBAs to understand the database structure. Worked very closely with the business
analyst in understand the functional requirements.

with client to gather and document requirements. Drafted RFP responses and developed SOW and
work breakdown structures. Authored design documents.

Internal Project for MCI: May 2003 – June 2004
• Played a key role in a year long internal telecommunications project to capture customer
feedback, complaints, and inquiries. Authored project plan, led application coding efforts, and
worked closely with an offshore team on development and testing. The offshore team resided

Thomson in Mexicali, Mexico: May 2002 - April 2003
This was a travelling job. Thomson manufactures television tubes and the panel and funnels

had to go through six stages in the plant before the glass was made. Designed a strategy and
a Visual Basic application that integrated with Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) to detect
whether or not Television Panels on the conveyor belt met the standards. Communicated with
various stakeholders. Created complex modules in the existing Visual Basic application that
would interact with PLC. The Visual basic application had to be integrated with PLC via API
calls. Software was installed on the operating system where the Visual Basic application
resided to enable integration. A handshake between the VB application and PLC had to be
established before binary data could be exchanged. The Visual Basic application had a GUI
that showed the status of its communication with all PLCs. It was replacing SCADA.
Worked closely with manufacturing engineers to resolve data collection problems. Tested and

modified Visual Basic applications to eliminate duplicate data at various stations in the plant.
Made recommendations to the client.
PFPC in Berwyn, PA: Feb 2001 – March 2002
Coordinated a team of four programmer analysts to maintain a large financial application for

PFPC. This application was designed to sell and monitor mutual funds. This was a Visual Basic
application (VB6) communicating with a proprietary database that resided on VAX/VMS.
Created new modules in the VB application and wrote APIs. Used third party controls such as
VsFlexArray, 3-D Sheridan, and DBGrid in VB6 extensively. The code was always reviewed by
the team and the application was tested by the QAs.
