in for this permanent position based on my previous summer internship

performance and plant operations/engineering knowledge

Served as a project engineer for the following projects:

1.) Designed an oil containment facility to meet EPA and state of CO

environmental reforms

2.) Coordinated facility improvement projects ($10 Million) which

included prioritizing, design, procurement, manufacture, installation,

test and operation.

3.) Wrote technical specs for capital/maintenance contracts with

commercial vendors.

4.) Designed and wrote automated PM maintenance program for $60

million of capital equipment (front end loaders, haul trucks,

bulldozers)

Helped build model and surveyed quarry to determine remaining

quarry reserves

Used PCs for AutoCAD/CAE/LabVIEW tools, basic engineering, drafting

and data presentations for engineering and operations presentations

Developed familiarity with basic electronics, machine shop, maintenance

and welding practices.

In charge of obtaining plant certifications (NRMCA)

Learned a recent acquisitions ready-mix software in order to build a

customer inventory, order entry and invoicing system and then integrated

that database into CEMEX’s computerized system

Senior Project

Conversion of 250cc, 19hp, gasoline powered moped to electric power

Won ASME Creative Project 1st Place

Project included all phases of engineering design, background research on

lithium ion phosphate batteries and electric motors, wind tunnel testing,

drag coefficient and energy efficiency analysis
