Responsibilities included layout and design for P-O- P Times, a monthly business to business
publication for the retail industry, processing and tracking digital artwork and advertising for final
publication. Worked on a daily basis with the publisher, editors, prepress and printer to maintain
print schedules. In the past year, I assumed the additional responsibilities of creative director and
web developer of on-line editorial newsletters. This included directing editors in producing a
weekly series of e-news communications.

Instructing students to an overview of magazine design, including a hands-on computer lab.
Students learned typography, composition, and page makeup; understanding color in print, how
paper affects printing, and different types of printing. Those students had the opportunity to go on
to be selected to produce a monthly magazine, Echo w hich has won numerous awards in the
past.

Responsibilities included the quality control for over 20 monthly magazines by color correcting
traditional and electronic media images prior to their release to printers.

Responsibilities included managing the production of all graphics programs. This included all
point-of-purchase and point-of-sale signage, private label packaging, seasonal and event
promotions, corporate collateral and all guidance for in- store installations.

Responsibilities included supervising eight production artists producing over 20 magazines
