Field Construction Project Manager

Project Manager on sixty two Chase/WAMU Bank full remodels

that consisted of Ground-up construction along with Interior

remodels. Daily activities were coordinating all financials &

scheduling of all traits pertaining to every aspect of

construction. Every bank remodel contained its own site

specific issues and intricacies which required project

management resolution & problem solving tactics to achieve a

successful turnover. Project deadlines and budgets were met

on every project to ensure customer satisfaction.

Construction Project Manager

Project Manager on several LXR Resort Hotel projects which

consisted of lobby remodels along with restaurant and kitchen

build-out’s. Established working relationships with food and

beverage directors on many luxury resort hotels such as

Hilton and Hyatt to ensure customer satisfaction on highly

detailed and labor intensive projects.

Project Manager on most recent 14,000 sq. ft Bahia Mar Hotel

Coordinated all construction aspects from budget costs to crew

maintenance to ensure quality customer satisfaction. Project

included new Millwork fabrication along with marble flooring

and intricate soffits to accommodate obscure lighting package.

Amongst many other requests by the client a unique acoustical

ceiling system was also included in certain areas for aesthetic

purposes.

Project Manger on South Seas Plantation Hotel Captiva,Fl

Holy Smokes Restaurant Remodel consisted of a 4,800 sq.

ft full restaurant build-out within a five week schedule to meet

a grand opening deadline. Project was completed on time and

within budget. Project included everything from Mechanical

hood and fire suppression system to installation of all millwork

paneling & cosmetic applications.

Project Manager on Coconut Grove Bank lobby Miami, FL

Remodel included new teller stations along with all interior

aspects from flooring to acoustical ceiling and state of the art

glass paneling for conference center. Project was to be

completed within three stages while bank lobby remained

open to customers. Special attention was needed to adhere

by bank stipulated construction schedule.

2005– 2007 Intertech Construction Corp, Hollywood, Florida

Construction Project Manager

Manage numerous retail construction projects with responsibility for

overseeing all large projects from conception through completion.

Provide clients with numerous options and ideas to ensure quality

and satisfaction. Establish lasting working relationships with clients,

vendors and subcontractors to facilitate completion of each

individual construction project in accordance with client speci-

fications and requirements. Worked in conjunction with major retail

clients as Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Einstein Brothers Bagels and

Verizon.

Project Manager on six Florida Jamba Juice locations with

stores ranging from 1,400 to over 2,300 sq. ft. Mobilized proj-

ects, monitored progress of superintendents, tracked costs for

multiple subcontractors, coordinated owner-provided deliveries

with client and construction managers, and regulated all

project financial functions. Also, prepared technical

specifications and requirements for the purchase of

construction materials including structural steel, composite

floor decks, etc.

Project Manager on thirteen Southeast Florida Starbucks Coffee

locations. Coordinated budget analyses for all potential change or-

ders and unforeseen conditions. Fostered teamwork environment

with Starbucks Corporate Project Management Team to expedite

weekly meetings and ensure successful turnover. In addition,

coordinated all design changes along with deliveries and major

milestone events with superintendent and subcontractors.

2004 – 2005 BDC Construction Corporation, Miami, Florida

Construction Project Manager

Planned, scheduled and coordinated construction projects including new

construction, renovations and conversions. Responsible for estimating

costs of time, labor and equipment, scheduling work and meeting dead-

lines, contract administration, client relations, and onsite supervision of

work crews up to eight people including subcontractors. Ensured com-

pliance with all construction codes and regulations. Gained experience

with change orders, building applications, change of subcontractors,

hold-harmless agreements and virtually all types of construction

documents.

Project Manager on technically complex Shapelover’s Kitchen

Facility project, 4,000-sq. ft. food manufacturing plant with

additional 1,500-sq. ft. of office space. Completed project two

months ahead of projected twelve-month schedule. Project

also required special attention to detail in order to coincide

with health codes and safety regulations.

Project Manager on $6 million, 12,000-sq. ft. La Gorce Drive

Miami Beach Residence, a 4-story luxury custom home with

seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a separate 4,000-sq. ft.

addition on rear portion of home.

Project Manager on 20,000-sq. ft. Trinity International University

project, including demolition of existing structure and renovation

of interior conference rooms, classrooms and office spaces.

Project Manager on $1.3 million construction and renovation pro-

jects for three Sergio’s Restaurants. Construction work entailed

new construction at two locations and one complete renovation.

Completed all additional projects that pertained to renova-

tions and additions under budget and ahead of schedule.

Worked closely with developer on virtually all aspects of reno-

vation process and coordinated all financial controls on $6

million-plus Mayfair Condo conversion project, 75,000-sq. ft.,

6-story low-rise facility. Structure also included new 8,000-sq.

large events and office space for privileged staff.
