Profile
For over 25 years I have been a contract consultant, primarily on Tandem Mainframes, both as a programmer
and programmer/analyst. I have worked largely in the Finance sector, but have some experience in both General
Insurance and Industrial Warehousing. During this time I have acquired a good working knowledge of financial
institutions, as well as a sound basis of IBM and Tandem skills.
Although I worked mainly on the programming required for each project I have been involved in much of the
analysis in many of the main projects.
I recently moved into a Test Analyst role where I assisted in the preparation of test plans and the testing of
software to company guidelines and standards. This included Validation, System, Regression, and User
Acceptance testing.
