Recruited to open the sales and marketing effort for a new manufacturing facility in the Rio Grande Valley
serving manufacturers on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border as well as national accounts. Analyzed the
cross-border market and oversaw warehousing operations in Juarez, Mexico, and Fontana, California.
Negotiated contracts with manufacturers and work closely with client and PCA design, marketing, and
manufacturing professionals to obtain attractive and functional packaging designs.
• Grew sales from zero to more than $7 million with margins of 40% to 50%.
• Opened and managed the Lexmark printer account and obtained 90% of that company’s U.S. business,
which is centered in Kentucky, Mexico, and California.
