Description Adobe® ColdFusion® software solves the day-to-day challenges of Internet application

deliver engaging online applications.
Being a Member of Technical Staff, I was involved in
• Maintaining multiple modules in ColdFusion like Databases, Reporting,
Charting & Graphing and Flash Forms.
• Fixing numerous bugs and handling customer issues in database connectivity
for ColdFusion, which happens to be the core and most used feature of
ColdFusion.
• Fixing critical issues and providing timely and accurate enhancements in the
above mentioned modules. The impact of the enhancements has allowed many
high profile Adobe customers to implement their enterprise solutions.
• Handling escalations and providing hotfixes for multiple modules.
• Implementing innovative new features in ColdFusion that would provide
competitive advantage to ColdFusion over other similar products.
• Enabling connectivity with new databases by providing native integration with
new databases like Apache Derby, Informix 11, and Oracle 11G.
Some of the features that I implemented are:
1. Sharepoint Integration: This module enables customers to seamlessly
connect with sharepoint servers using ColdFusion and execute different
functionalities in Sharepoint Server. This will allow ColdFusion shops running
Sharepoint servers to work on Sharepoint servers easily using CF rather than
switching to .NET. Axis and Java were the core technologies that were used to
implement this module.
2. Server Manager: Server Manager is an AIR based application to enable
managing and monitoring several ColdFusion servers parallely. This will
radically minimize the amount of time spent by the server administrators to
configure different settings separately on each server. Server Manager provides
a single interface from where settings for multiple servers can be managed. I
was responsible for implementing the server side features required for Server
Manager.
Java, ColdFusion, Actionscript, BlazeDS, Flash Remoting, Flex/AIR were used
to implement this application.

Description It’s a Customer Relationship Management application where all the customers looking
to buy a Car will have to use this application. This application basically works as a
dealer between customer and the car manufacturing company. It will have 3 levels of
access depending upon the user privilege i.e. Administrator, Manager & Salesperson.
Working as a Development Engineer, I was responsible for designing and
implementing most of the critical modules in the project. The design was done by
employing the object oriented design with low coupling and high cohesion. Hibernate
was used for persistence and struts was used for the web-tier. The database used was
PostgreSQL.

Project-2 Real Estate Portal Client Zillow

Description It is a real estate portal where the information about all the houses in US is maintained
and the registered users can claim their homes, post their homes and also add their
homes to the portal if it is not already present. It also values homes and thus serves as
a real estate advisor for the registered users. Being a Development Engineer, I
worked on the key modules like claiming the home and posting the home for sale.
Object oriented design was followed and design patterns were judiciously employed.
The database used was SQL Server 2005 and Tapestry was used for web tier and
Spring framework was used for middle and access tier.

Description It is a product that caters to the retailing market. It takes care of managing the
transactions of the retail business and managing the organization as a whole. Being a
Trainee Developer, I was responsible for maintaining the code base and developing
new features and customizing the product as needed by the clients. All the new features
were developed after having appropriate design in place. Oracle database was used
and struts was used for the web tier and jdbc is used for persistence. The front end
was developed using JSP.
Status It was an ongoing project. I worked on this project during the Internship (Industry
training).
