AGFA CORPORATION

A $400M USA based subsidiary of a Belgium company. Formally a $1B corporation prior to splitting into four

companies in 2007. Business includes consumables, equipment and software organized in three major business

groups; Graphics, HealthCare and Specialty products.

Director Process Systems Controlling & Integrity (2001 – 2009)

Ensured compliance with GAAP, IFRS accounting principles and internal policies which led to a high level

of confidence in data integrity and internal controls. Emphasis on revenue recognition, restructuring,

impairments, logistical operations and human resources.

Direct contact with external auditors (KPMG) relating to acquisitions and process improvements.

Directed a team to improve accounts payable processes throughout the company, resulting in a more efficient

use of cash (changing to ACH rather than checks), avoidance of penalties, fraud reduction and administrative

cost savings.

Implemented a cross-training program within the transactional accounting organization.

Directed a large multi-functional global team (including external attorneys of White & Case and Day Pitney

and an outside actuary firm, Hewitt) in the creation of four legal companies from one legal company,

COMPUGRAPHIC CORPORATION

A $400M equipment manufacturing company in the Graphics Arts industry based in the US. CG was purchased by

Agfa late in 1989.

Controller: USA Business Unit: Sales and Marketing (1986 – 1989)

Presented monthly financial results commentary for management.

Responsible for credit and collections for international dealers.

Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation.

Reviewed financial statements for subsidiary in Mexico (FASB 8).
