Project: Lease Management System (LMS)
With an asset base of over 500 million dollars, Fleet Capital Leasing was a leading provider of
leasing solutions to the healthcare industry in the US. The OLTP system - LMS was developed in-
house using Clipper 5.2. It covered all aspects of Leasing - ranging from Proposals, Origination,
Servicing of Lessees, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable.

In addition to an OLTP system there was a Corporate Data Warehouse which received feeds from
various leasing divisions across the country. It provided a means for consolidated reporting from a
financial perspective as well as a basis for Asset Management, Lessee and Vendor Analytics.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintenance, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation of
enhancements of LMS. Developed the Accounts Receivable sub-system, automated the
upload and application of Lockbox Checks to the Accounts Receivable sub-system.

system using Oracle as back-end and Crystal Reports for Reporting. I was a member
of the team responsible for :
- Data mapping and Oracle schema design using ERwin
- Loading legacy application data into Oracle tables using SQL Loader
- Wrote functional documents and program specifications for packages, triggers,
procedures and functions based on the legacy system code.
- Developed reports using Crystal Reports
• Development, Testing and Documentation for the Corporate Data Warehouse. The
responsibilities for the Data Warehouse project involved :
- Team member involved with design of the Star Schema dimensional model
using ErWIN.
- Data mapping and Data extraction from the Source LMS application into
staging tables using PL/SQL for Packages and Stored Procedures. Informatica
was then used to extract, transform and load records into an Oracle Target
Database

Expression, Router, Lookups, Filter, Stored Procedures and Update Strategy to
implement Slowly Changing Dimensions – Type 1 and 2 for data loading to an
Oracle Database

to move source files to archive folder
• Developed and implemented interfaces to provide nightly extracts and feeds to the
corporate mainframe based Centralized Accounting system.
• Designed, Developed, Tested and Implemented a stand-alone proprietary system
“RAPIDLEASE”. This system was a scaled down version of the main Lease
Management System that enabled the Sales Reps in the field to present various leasing
programs offered by Fleet to potential clients. This system was developed using MS
Access as backend, Visual Basic as front end and Crystal Reports was used for
reporting purposes.
