OBJECTIVE: Integrate the Technology and Operations platforms of two large Wealth Management businesses to enable
their merging (Mellon Financial and Bank of New York) into a single $180B Wealth Management business.
RESPONSIBILITY: Led a Program Team of 200 Technology and Operations professionals. Owned and managed a
Merger & Integration budget of $53MM. Led the architecture planning and selection of all target “end-state” technology
and operations platforms, and the decommissioning planning for all targeted “sunset” applications. Owned the execution
of all integration and conversion projects (50+ projects). Led all key program communications.
RESULT: The integration program and all key projects were delivered on time (hit all key milestone dates) and under
budget (favorable variance subsidized additional IT initiatives). All sunset applications were retired as scheduled
resulting in the successful capture of forecast cost synergies. No Client attrition – retention was 100%.
