Objective: Supervise challenging construction projects in the
field/office, strive for error free performance, and bring the highest
quality of workmanship to each project- within budget and on
schedule. I have functioned in the capacity of superintendent, project
engineer and project manager.
Functional Summary:
I am self-sufficient, I write my own reports, develop schedules, handle and issue bulletins and
change orders, check and file shop drawings, and write correspondence. In a great number of my
projects I function without a project assistant or engineer and was noted for having the ability to
work as a stand alone professional with the trades and architects/engineers. I am able to
contribute value to my employer at a low cost operation expense.
I am capable of conducting all meetings, establishing all meeting minutes and distribution. I
process all submittals/shop drawings, bulletins, ASI, field directives/field ord ers. I write all
upfront work descriptions for each trade contactor, tracking logs and budgets relating to
construction goals. Issue written notices, directive and letters, assure all trade contracts submit
appropriate documentation and assist delinquent parties as needed to assure compliance is met .
I am a motivator, and I interact well with owners, architects/engineers and grade contactors. I
review all quotes, bulletins and field directives, tracking project budgets throughout construction,
from start to completion. I negotiate all extra costs incurred by each trade contractor during
construction. I review contract drawings and specifications for compliance, prior to issuing for bid
proposals.
