• Implemented supplier kanban systems and vendor-managed supply programs.
• Developed and administered a comprehensive MRP system, from BOM’s to PO’s.
• Designed and implemented a Part Scheduling System for Fabrication in a metal
furniture manufacturing operation, significantly reducing WIP and lead times.
• Obtained raw material cost reduction of about 8% through outsourcing, stocking
programs and other best practices of Supply Chain Management.
• Reduced inventory shrinkage from $400K to just about $7K, two years later, with the
establishment of inventory controls and standard operating procedures.
• Relocated a 200,000 Sq.Ft operation into a 140,000 Sq.Ft. facility with only one week
of downtime.
