reported to the proper design team, and then in concert we work to characterize and understand the problem, so that a proper fix can

Pursued 6 months full time graduate education in programming code, in order to develop the communication linkage

between the control panel (C & C++ code) and product (assembler code). As a result, I acquired a major project

managing the software for a seamless integration between the product and sorter, developed by a third party.

Project accomplishment:

Maintained current graphical interface, updated with new graphics and messages for a new product line

• Learned the communications protocol between the user interface (control panel processor) and the main control processor.

Then created the communications link between them and validated the software

• Conceptualized and rewrote the interface specification for new third party sorter interface, based on the requirements of a new

product for the office market

• Interfaced with both the vendor and Xerox engineers to insure a seamless integration

• Managed the problem set, worked to resolve all issues

division. The foundation task was the roll of operability team leader, which was a constant assignment during these years.

• Operability Team Manger -- Managed a team of six people to develop the operability features for a group of products to be

sold in the US and internationally. We designed and implemented the human interface strategy for 7 products. Designing the

look and feel of the product, user interface, jam clearance, and customer message center. This includes several different user

interface control panels as well as graphical user interfaces. Each required the development of graphics displays, messages,

diagnostics and service controls, with in multiple layers embedded in the display. The development of the System Operating
