Project# 1Tradebook: Trade book is an Electronic Crossing Network (ECN) that receives trade orders from customers

and then matches them internally or routes them to the marketplace for execution. The processing requirements of

these executed trades can be complex as they are determined by many factors. Trade book had outsourced their trade

processing for ten years prior to their decision to take much of this processing in-house. This was a mission critical, full

production cutover of a mature business that executes over 300,000 trades daily. The Trade book COO said that the

decision to hire me to guide them through this vital transition was “a no-brainer.” As a result of the success of this

project, Trade book now grosses an additional $100 million annually.

Responsibilities:

• Conveying trade processing and brokerage operations subject matter knowledge to business and

development units. This input served as the foundation for outlining comprehensive business requirements for

trading, compliance, clearing, settlement, accounting, billing and business intelligence.

• Proposing and executing solutions for business requirements including work flow diagrams, data feeds,

system processes and database table content specifications.

• Analyzing complicated trade data and constructing a “matrix based” solution which identified transaction types,

Project# 1 Match Data Mart for Dun & Bradstreet: MDM is a search engine for the queries sent by the Dun n

Bradstreet clients to get various financial companies data through a website. All the queries come in a flat file at the end

of the day, which gets processed against the Match Database and the results are published on the website. It also

involves usage of third party tools such as Software Search America, for generating and matching the search keys, and

First Logic Name & Address Standardization tool, for name and address verification.

Sweep Module: This module is used to update the Match Database on regular intervals with the latest data from Global

Data warehouse, which gets updates from different countries everyday through MQ Series. The data is stored inside the

Global Data warehouse in the form of zipped XML String. The XML needs to be unzipped and parsed to update the

Match Database keeping the performance at minimum of 100k records per hr. The module also needs to interact with

third party tools, developed in C/C++, to generate the match keys that are used in query search processing.

• Involved in requirements analysis and technical feasibility study to meet the performance goals.

agents. All the Orders logged on the site are exported to an excel file in regular intervals and then will be transferred to

OPS. For each customer order BOM is identified and an order will be logged to logistic agents. The system supports the

tracking of these orders till the materials are shipped to customer.

officers can monitor the data from all the branches. The software is implemented in all the branches in India. The

software also generates various reports for field officers and top management, which includes Bar graphs and Charts,

which are developed using Crystal Reports.

Project# 2 Student Administration System for Vikas Educational Institutes (www.vikasonline.com): This product

is a comprehensive client/server application with integration with web-based reports for any educational institution. It

contains different modules namely Preadmission, Admission, Attendance, Fee Collection, Hostel Details, Weekly Tests,

MIS modules. MIS module shows the student performance levels on different subjects using crystal graphs and charts.

Project# 3 Sales Analysis System for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd: This package is a client/server application

for analyzing the sales made by the major oil companies through various retail outlets in Visakha Territory. The package

generates various reports and graphs to know the performance of the retail outlets as well as the Oil Companies.

Responsibilities:

• Technical design, coding and unit testing.

• Participated in system testing, change management, implementation at client locations.

• I have taken some of the projects independently as a freelance programmer and implemented end-to-end
