the automotive /defense industry to insure customer satisfaction through enhanced product quality. My strengths include experience and
expertise in the automotive/defense industry, programming languages, computer applications, and excellent communication skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE
General Dynamics Land Systems 9/2007-7/2009
Diagnostics Engineer:
As a contractor for G-Tech professional staffing, INC; I was a member of logistics engineering group, I developed electrical systems
troubleshooting manuals for tanks that soldiers can easily understand and use to diagnose and fix malfunctions in the tank’s electrical
system.
Magna Electronics 1/2007-6/2007
Validation Engineer:
Created and maintained DV (Design Validation) Test Plans and managed testing in accordance with the DV plans. Compiled data and
reported results which included tracking areas of discrepancy. Validated electronic components supplied to General Motors, DCX, and
Ford such as Power lift gate modules, reverse aid cameras, and lane departure warning, etc.
LEAR CORPORATION
12/2005 – 9/2006
Advanced Engineering:
Examined wiring diagrams (schematics) to identify potential causes for failure such as short circuit and prepare d schematics for CAE
analysis (short circuit, load survey, voltage drop, etc) using TransDesign tools (ECAD)
11/2004 – 12/2005
Validation Engineer, General Motors Customer Team:
Created and maintained EDS (Electrical Design Systems) DV (Design Validation) Test plan, manage testing in accordance to DV plan
then compile data and report results while tracking areas of discrepancy, and assist Design Release Engineering team on routing
assessments, resolving DV Non-compliances and on 8-D’s where applicable( Hybrid Saturn Vue 2007). The Job included Circuit analysis
and troubleshooting to support release engineers identifying the failures.
1/2004 – 11/2004
Validation Engineer, Ford Customer Team:
Created and maintained DV (Design Validation) Test Plans and managed testing in accordance with the DV plans. Compiled data and
reported results which included tracking areas of discrepancy. Assisted Design Release Engineering team on routing assessments, to
resolve DV and 8-D’s non-compliances, where applicable (Ford Focus 2005/2006).
2/2003 – 1/2004
Systems Engineer, Daimler Chrysler platforms:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the vehicle electrical system; specificall y power distribution, grounding, wire harness
partitioning, development and maintenance of the wiring DVP&R (design validation plan and report) and tracking of all tests, test planning
and coordination. Provided support to Product Engineers for Power Distribution Components (PDC, IPM, JB etc.) . Worked on Jeep
Liberty 2005/2006
