My duties included onsite store evaluations, on site training, as well as
remote store performance monitoring and management of the USA BABY
store support and merchandising teams.
• Assumed operational responsibility for USA BABY’S E-Commerce
operations and merchandising program.
• Revamped focus and direction of new Franchise training program that saw
an increase of 20 % per month in sales for new store openings.
• Increased Gross Profit margins from 38% in 2007 to 42% in 2008 by
focusing on our core business and successfully negotiating more
favorable pricing from vendors.
• Raised the average SALE PER TRANSACTION FROM $189.00 TO
$230.00 by changing the focus of the corporate training program from an
operational focus to a program that focused on sales training and

card program. Successfully negotiated pricing and program parameters

best in class program.
• Partnered with a Freight Management Consultant to provide USA BABY
Stores a competitive Freight Management Program that reduced freight
expenses by 10% for participating stores.
• Developed a Private Label Financing and Private Label Credit program
with best in class service that resulted in a $100,000 performance bonus
that was earned by USA BABY, Inc and provided a much-needed sales
tool for USA BABY Stores.
