Recent Professional Accomplishments

• Developed mobile webOS applications (new operating system for Palm phones) using JavaScript, AJAX,

CSS, and DHTML for the last year. Also developed many of the example applications included in the webOS

Developer SDK.

• Developed bulk of intranet applications for Palm using PHP and MySQL on Linux and ColdFusion and

Oracle on Solaris. Created and consumed SOAP based web services.

• Worked with legal, finance, site services, engineering, developer relations and HR identifying business

processes that would benefit from automation, analyzing the processes, designing a solution (develop in-

house and/or 3rd party solutions). Managed and/or developed the solution to completion. Developed full

applications including UI design, DHTML, backend database schema and all ColdFusion code.

• Developed a legal contracts database in ColdFusion/Oracle which allows management and detail tracking

(including storage of PDF contract images) of all contracts at Palm Inc.

• Successfully managed on-shore/off-shore project migrating pdn.palm.com from in-house Java/J2EE platform

logic files and simulation stimulus files to the Zycad standard.

Senior R&D Engineer

Led team of 11 engineers in development of a proprietary microprocessor based IBM 3080 compatible disk drive

controller, developed instruction set for the proprietary microprocessor for the above, used Z8000 and IBM

assembler programming to develop diagnostic operating system and fault locator system for Virtual Storage

Subsystem based on a Magnusen Computer Systems IBM 370 compatible mainframe in conjunction with an in-

house developed channel processor and achieved 97% fault detection of entire system.
