Responsibilities included manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, human resources, info rmation technology,
product development and inside sales for a privately held global rubber & plastic foam insulation company
supplying the residential, commercial & industrial construction industries with revenue up to $65 million.
Increased profitability of the elastomeric product line through collaboration, coaching, lean manufacturing
techniques, kaize n, and cost control which brought $1 million more to the bottom line.
Reduced safety related incidents by 52% and incurred no lost time injuries for 4+ years. This led to
receiving the North Carolina Department of Labor Gold Award for safety improvement in 2009.
Reduced customer complaints by 24% year over year through 5-why analysis and solid countermeasures.

ITT engages in the design and manufacture of various engineered products and related services in the United
States and internationally. The $600MM Fluid Handling Systems automotive group where I spent the
majority of my career was sold in February of 2006.
ITT Industries - Auburn Hills, MI Sep ‘04 – Feb ‘06
Director of Operations, Automotive Fluid Handling Systems
P&L responsibility for $108 million in annual revenue for three high performing non-union manufacturing
plants with 580 total employees supplying automotive fluid handling products.
Drive international strategic manufacturing footprint planning which added operating profit of $2 million
in 2005 and projected $5 million in 2006. Includes union and non-union plants as well as the entire
supply chain, in alignment with the ITT Goal Deployment Process.
Led the North American prototype and aftermarket service manufacturing technology center. Includes
fabrication of steel and plastic products using CNC equipment in a low volume /high mix operation.
Implemented 5S practices that allowed lean six sigma events to flourish resulting in a 17% decrease in
quality ppm defective rating, a 50% decrease in premium freight, and a $500K reduction in operational
expenses year over year.
HiSAN, Inc. (JV with ITT Industries) - Findlay, OH Mar ‘03 – Sep ‘04

Built a cohesive operations team in a 50/50 joint venture between ITT and Sanoh Industrial of Japan.
Operational responsibilities included; five non-union manufacturing plants, estimating, process
engineering, prototype and service groups.
