I am a very motivated, self starter and would be an asset to your organization. I
have experience as a leader and teacher as well as the drive to get things done. I have

09/09-present Superintendent, B iosphere International, INC
Manage and supervise all trades(site, electrical and utilities) for the construction of
the Liberty Paving parking lot for the James A Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa,
FL
03/09-09/09 Fiber Technician, F.O.S
Prepare and splice fiber optic cables for Verizon’s FIOS FTTP projects in various
locations throughout the Tampa bay area. Specifics include single and mass fusion
splicing in both hot and dark locations as well as installing MDU’s.
09/08-01/09 Conductor, CSX Transportation
Completed conductor training and 10 weeks of OJT. I was laid off due to a
slumping economy which resulted in a lack of business.
07/08-09/08 Fiber Technician, F.O.S

I began work with RIPA as a Final Grade foreman in late 2004. I was with RIPA
about 6 months when I was promoted to Asst. Superintendent where I oversaw the
finishing activities on our jobs which include but are not limited to final grading,
storm punch out, utility punch out, coordinating and executing final inspections
with Project Engineers and County officials. With RIPA I have helped close out
The Groves PH 3 & 4, Hamilton Park, Lake Bernadette, Lone Star Ranch, Town
homes, Long Leaf PH3 and Grey Hawk PH2. I then began working as an Asst.
Utility Superintendent with RIPA. Coordinating storm, sewer, and water pipe
installation. I was then promoted to EPD Superintendent where I was tasked with
handling all of RIPA’s NPDES compliance reporting and activities.

Supervise 2 to 3 different crews and coordinate storm pipe installation in accordance
with DOT specifications on the I-4/US-98 FDOT project in Lakeland, FL as well as
the SR55 FDOT project in Clearwater, FL.

Maintain and patrol a fiber route. Maintain transmission sites while preparing,
practicing and maintaining fiber restoration skills. I am proficient in the use of the Pk
7500 OTDR, and have had introductory classes on the Titan 5500, and the Alcatel
1630 Dacs, as well as the Nortel OC 192 and OC 48 Regen’s and LTE’s.

Prep and splice fiber optic cables. I have worked on and spliced many different types
of cables. Worked with various companies performing new build splicing as well as
hot cuts for add on and damage restoration. I also used OTDR’s for fiber traces to
find and repair fiber breaks as well as to document fiber lengths and loss values.

Supervise dirt operations. Excavating, de-mucking and placing materials in
accordance with D.O.T. specifications for the construction of the Sun coast Parkway.

Supervise operations for the Lymmo Project in downtown Orlando, FL consisting of
vast hardscaping and landscaping plans requiring coordination with all utility
companies to relocate existing utilities. Implemented traffic control plans on the
Lymmo project and the southern connector project of HWY 417 in Orlando, FL.
Operate track hoe, front-end loader, roller, end dump, skid steer and various other
equipment.
