P roASIC devices.
Recent paper topics: Xilinx’s “Spartan-6”, “Virtex- 5” and “Virtex-6” device families
for design acceleration.
P resented a paper on a high K “Hafnium metal dioxide” for 45nm design Techniques.
Implementation of Quad port memories feature in Virtex devices:
Implemented quad port Memories using exiting Dual Port block memories in Spartan II
and Virtex families by adding few MUXs and basic features of Digital Clock Manager.
Digital Signal Processing De s ign implementation on FPGA :
Used Matlab Simulink tools accompanied by Altera DSP building b locks features &
Verified the same design with Xilinx System generator building block.
Implementation of Magnetic MagStrip card swipe reader on Drag on 12(68HCS12):
Used Dragon 12 (68HCS12 Microcontroller) Board, MagTek Card reader (21040080)
and RS 232. Encoded microcontroller in “C”.
Mechanical Vibration Measurement Using Fiber O ptics cable:
Assembled using 8255 programmable I/O device to communicate with computer PCI
slots, accompanied by Analog to Digital convertor (0809), 2x1 MUX, unidirectional and
bi-directional buffers and invertors.
Programming of “Digital Clock Manager” functions in Spartan-3 FPGA device:
Used Xilinx DCM wizard property to generate multiple clocks having different clock
frequencies, phase shifts and deskewed clock f rom the input clock source.
