06/00 - 04/01 The Betty Hardwick Center (Abilene Regional MHMR), Abilene, TX.
Diagnosed and treated M/R clients, of all ages, with communication and swallowing disorders. Worked in
conjunction with a team of case coordinators, skill trainers, teachers and other therapists.
11/99 - 6/00 Little Lives ECI, Sweetwater, TX.
Diagnosed and treated children, birth to three years of age, with communication and swallowing disorders.
Responsible for scheduling and maintaining a caseload, over a four county area.
5/96 - 11/99 Prism Rehab (Director of Rehab), Houston, TX.
Supervised a staff of 12 therapists, 2 rehab aides and 2 restorative aides. Responsible for maintaining rehab
productivity, monthly production reports, fiscal revenue and expense reports, functional outcome reports, rehab
equipment requisitions, marketing and outpatient program development. Provided staff/family/community
inservices, education and workshops. Also maintained a patient caseload and supervised two Speech Pathologists
finishing their clinical fellowship year.
8/95 - 9/99 Visiting Nurses Association (part time), Alvin, TX.
Diagnosis and treatment of patients of all ages (pediatric through geriatric), with communication and swallowing
disorders within the home/school/clinic and MR group home environment. Responsible for scheduling and
maintaining caseload, and supervision of a Speech Pathologist/CFY.
8/94 -12/95 Gardner Manzella, Inc., Lake Jackson, TX.
Diagnosed and treated patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Worked in conjunction with
radiologist in the administration and interpretation of modified barium swallow studies. Participated in team
management and family counseling. Responsible for inservice training of staff and caregiver education.

1/94 - 5/94 Houston Rehabilitation Institute, Houston, TX.
Performed diagnostics and treatment of neurologically impaired patients of all ages including dysphagia
treatment and interpreting modified barium swallow studies. Performed chart reviews, prepared medical
reports, and participated in medical and family conferences.

Established Speech and Hearing department in inter-city clinic. Developed report forms, bookkeeping and filing
