Objective

IT coordinator, System Analyst and/or PC support person. Data extraction, query and report

writing.

I can render data from a canned or custom order entry, accounting, production, scheduling, or

manufacturing system into management usable output. I replace static canned printouts with

downloadable dynamic data.

I also excel in being able to determine whether a “computer” problem is in fact hardware,

software or user. If hardware, I can usually repair onsite.

Experience

Spent the last 24 years in a large manufacturing environment supporting up to 100 networked

PC users, 35 printers, and 20 hubs/switches in a mixed Ethernet/Twinax environment.

Supported Email, MS Office, Windows XP and Vista, EDI, VPN, Rumba.

Trained users on how to use the system. Showed them macro shortcuts.

Fulfilled customer requests for technology solutions.

Supported remote users using Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance, Netmeeting, and VNC.

Trouble shooting and resolving software, hardware, network and user issues. I can replace most

computer parts as well as backup, reformat and reinstall the operating system.

Downloading/querying data from AS/400 and other mainframe or mini data bases into Excel

and Access, R&R, and Crystal Reports for management specific ad hoc reports to supplement

the generic canned system reports.

Create Excel spreadsheets for accounting, estimating, customer service, sales, scheduling, and

production analysis.

Extracting order entry data and generating customer specific bar coded shipping labels.

Interfaced UPS and FedEx shipping systems with our order entry data with a bar coded job

number to populate the shipping label.
