Executive Vice President Creative Services / Creative Director
ThompsonMurray, Fayetteville, AR
3/1998 - 6/2004
In 1998, I became one of the founding partners of ThompsonMurray a
Fayetteville-based advertising / retail marketing firm heading up the company’s
creative department, and recruiting, hiring and training a tremendous base of
talented art directors, copywriters, and graphic designers. As executive creative
director, I helped take TM from a start-up with 18 employees to one of the region’s
largest advertising agencies with over 160 employees and some of the world’s
biggest clients, including Proctor & Gamble, Wal-Mart, and Coca-Cola. In this
position, I helped create advertising and in-store campaigns, as well as strategic
marketing plans. When Saatchi & Saatchi bought TM in 2004, I left to work on
freelance projects.
