Full responsibility for this 300+ employee injection molding custom manufacturing plant. Customers include GE,
MeadWestvaco, Sensata and Black and Decker. Plant includes molding up to 650 ton presses with both manual and
automated assembly processes.

Manager of Engineering
Full responsibility for this custom injection molding company's engineering department. Implemented the adaption of state of
the art CAD and Moldflow systems. Oversaw the purchase and management of all tooling and automation for new programs.
Helped develop new molding technologies including electronic encapsulation, micro fiber-optic polymer lenses and
biodegradable PLA/PLG molding. Developed micro manufacturing techniques including 3x3 micron molded details. Purchased
and managed diamond turning machine increasing business and leads. Implemented SPC through out the organization in
support of the Quality and Manufacturing groups. In addition developed several CI (Continuous Improvement) Teams with key
customers resulting in improved customer relationships and increased business. Customers included 3M/Cuno, Taco, Siemens,

Healthcare Engineering Program Manager
Full responsibility for custom injection molding engineering programs. Programs consisted of supporting medical OEM’s in
the design and development of their proprietary products and devices. This included quoting, plastic prototyping, design
development and full production molding and assembly. Fluent in all molding technologies including tooling, materials,
process and quality methods. Job included direct supervision of tooling, design, quality, process and industrial engineers
assigned to each program team with both matrix management and direct reports. Program budgets ranged from $100M to
several million dollars in capital equipment, tooling and engineering man hours. In the position the Program Manager became
the primary customer contact. My largest program was the Vistakon (Johnson & Johnson) Disposable contact lens molds.
Quality Assurance Engineer (1 year)
Job responsibilities included blueprint and specification review for new projects. Product design review included managing the
development of DFMA’s and FMEA’s. During initial sampling of molds performed design analysis resulting in
recommendations for design changes. Interfaced with customers to negotiate specifications. Interfaced with engineering
project members and operations personnel. Wrote specifications and good manufacturing procedures (GMP’s). Developed
Master Device Records for medical products and established quality SPC charts and inspection procedures.
AMOCO CONTAINER CO., Worcester, Mass (4 years)

Set up laboratory and organized quality assurance structure for this new PET bottle plant. Directed and trained all laboratory technicians
and line inspectors. Responsible for vendor certification, quality improvement and cost savings plans. As Technical Service Aide visited
customers to investigate quality complaints and approved all claims before payment.
