o Divisional growth of the Advertising Display Company- Permanent Display Division,

• Member of management team tasked with developing / implementing business consolidation

plan, integrating (5) display manufacturing and packaging facilities into 470,000 sq-ft facility.

• Implemented a European operations expansion plan, executing the construction and start-up of a

new 34,000 sq-ft display manufacturing and packaging facility in Portugal.

• Implemented multiple business plans, with P & L responsibilities, to develop and expand captive

injection molding and tooling operations, increasing internal sales from $ 4mm to over $18+mm

(annualized) over a five year period.

• Career long experiences in sourcing and developing off shore supply chains. Implemented

strategic off shore sourcing initiative that increased Asian purchases from 5% to 15% of total

annual spend, resulting in creation of Asian buying office and dedicated internal off shore focused

sourcing resources.

• Executed a global vendor qualification / consolidation program, encompassing external

purchases of over $20+ mm of plastics, metal, lighting and electronic components. Achieved an

annual spend reduction of 12% - 15% per category by negotiating volume discount and rebate

programs with all approved suppliers.

integration plans, managing the development of automated materials requisition, work center,

and item master inventory modules associated with master scheduling, capacity resource

• Managed all Purchasing / Production Planning, and Project Development related activities.

Designed & implemented new “production drive”, creating centralized project access site and

consolidating all department outputs. Reorganized Purchasing / Production groups to

• Created standardized estimating tools, updated purchasing guidelines & directed sourcing

• Developed $4+ mm off-shore turn-key fixture production plan, providing comprehensive

extended deposit and payment terms.

aspects of the Permanent Display Division and associated activities, including the coordination

and supervision of all Permanent Display Production Planning, Purchasing, program budget

development, and product design development; providing Sales organization with

technical/marketing support as required

• Implemented vertical / integrated sourcing and estimating philosophies that reduced the Cost of

Goods Sold through organizational development by 11 points, utilizing in-house production

capabilities, and development of an expanded outsourced supply chain.

POP Displays International
