Commercial Business Manager – Senior Vice President

• Established the commercial banking group in Macomb and recruited team members to develop business and manage

portfolios. Developed relationships from $250 thousand - $25 million in commercial and industrial and commercial

real estate. In 2008, this team was the highest producing new revenue group with $90 million in commitments; all

members achieved the rating “accomplished “on performance reviews.

Developed and managed a team of five commercial relationship managers with commitments in excess of $250 million

and $38 million in deposits. In addition, I managed multi-bank relationships and cross-sold bank products and services.

• Managed over $65 million in special loans. Negotiated on behalf of the Bank and acted as workout to reduce Bank

exposure and shore up structures with advice of legal counsel. Successfully exited over $33 million in commercial

real estate loans with no write-downs/charge-offs.

Acted as a player/coach and personally managed a self-generated $30 million portfolio with $10 million in deposits.

Developed networking events to develop business through referral sources and increase brand awareness and market

share.

Successfully completed team loan review and achieved a satisfactory rating for all aspects of credit management for

group portfolio.

Exceeded Bank goal and achieved 178% of the year to date SBA goal for our commercial team. In 2009, the team

generated 16 new approved loans at current market rates and with a focus on lower risk credit.

Achieved rank of number one treasury management commercial team, based on revenue and number of closed deals in

LaSalle Bank (AKA Bank of America), Troy, MI (7/2002-7/2007)

Metro Banking Division - Vice President

• Developed and managed a portfolio consisting of $44 million in outstandings and $60 million in commitments as well as

new business development of middle market customers with revenues ranging from $5 million to $50 million.

Managed commercial real estate credits under $3 million, managed private banking clients needs and special loans of

approximately $8 million.

Secured 16 new relationships through own referral sources with commitments totaling $52 million. Developed cold

calling programs and sales blitzing programs for the Macomb commercial lending group. Brought in new deposits

totaling $14 million over five years.

Achieved over $24 million in outstandings of closed loans made up of four new relationships with over $2 million in

new deposits and over $340 thousand in revenue from derivatives sales in 2007.

Achieved rank of leading relationship manager for new business development, credit quality, and client retention for

four consecutive years.

• Ranked as a top performer for cross sales and revenue generation out of 95 colleagues for fee generation for four

consecutive years.

Awarded the Pacesetter award in 2005 and 2006; 2007 performance on pace to repeat for a third year for cross sales and

Relationship Manager

• Brought in four new relationships with commitments exceeding $12 million dollars and increased the bank demand

deposit base by $10 million dollars.

Saved a key relationship and negotiated business to win an Industrial Revenue Bond Deal in excess of $10 million that

generated over $85 thousand in fees.

Developed relationships with middle market prospects showing revenues ranging from $5 million to $150 million

primarily through referral sources and cold calling in the north Oakland County market.

Managed a portfolio of customers with outstandings of $25 million and $38 million in commitments.
