Oracle Programmer/DBA
Designed and developed Alertlog Monitoring System using Oracle 7.3.

utilization, statistics including segment extents/used & free space/rows and tablespace allocated and free
space. This tool is used extensively by clients and in-house.
Designed and developed Space Trend Report. This is a trend of two space summary reports, generated at
two different points. This tool helps DBAs to project and view how big the database is going to be and
to take appropriate decisions.
Designed and developed Performance Summary Report. This tool reports the current performance of the
database and gives suggestions to the DBA to tune it. Calculations like db_hit_ratio, and gives hints to
verify whether shared_pool_size, sort_area_size, rollback segments are enough and many others. Data is
stored for future references.
Developed a Create Database Tool. A team of three developed this tool. This tool provides different base
versions of databases for the user to select and customize, and then creates the database based on the
selection. It works on VMS and Unix platforms.
