Consultant
Provide consultation services to a third party logistics management company to ensure
procedural compliance with relation to motor carrier transportation activities. This
includes following processes to prove that the carriers that are sent to facilities
for pickup or for delivery are the actual individuals that arrive for the shipment.
Ensure the communication that involved parties are provided with timely
identification of the driver and of the equipment the driver is utilizing so that it
can be verified before allowing entry into a secured facility. This also includes
validation of carrier credentials for engaging in interstate transportation and
corporate contractual requirements such as insurance compliance within defined limits
of liability and, if applicable, additional insured endorsements, valid Hazardous
Material Registration statements, active interstate authority and a satisfactory
Motor Carrier Safety Rating.
Managed the incoming shipment requests, analyzed and confirmed the shipping
requirements and set the shipments up in a system that created visibility of the
shipment with the shipper and any other authorized parties and the carrier and
tracked all phases of the shipment from auctioned, booked, tendered, in transit,
through delivered and the final audit and payment cycle.
Also responsible to communicate with carriers for documentation of pickup and
delivery to adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and to fully complete the
shipment cycle. This included sending reminders to request shipment status updates,
uploads of supporting documents, and clarification of data, signatures and
information related to supporting documents. These steps were necessary to complete
before a shipment would be released for payment.

Project managed all business continuity planning efforts for Product Conveyance
supply continuity as well as plans for Animal Health and Consumer Health Logistic
Center resiliency. This included managing the business impact analysis, risk
assessments, identifying critical processes, recovery strategies, testing, and
maintenance.
Developed, gathered and documented all business continuity planning data using Strohl
