and guided 10 Human Resource personnel, operations management and UAW leadership to
deliver strategic initiatives. Advised on personnel matters relating to local and national contracts,
company policies, procedures and programs. Designed and planned for skilled trades manpower

Ford Electronics and Refrigeration Corporation
Directed Human Resource functions for Ford subsidiary with responsibility for all compensation
plans, personnel policies and maintaining harmonious relations with the International Union of
Electrical, Furniture and Salaried Workers ( IUE ) who represented the hourly employees of the
Bedford Plant.
• Transitioned the plant to general compliance with Ford corporate salaried and hourly policies
and practices.
o Partnered with outside vendor to assist with compensation and benefit studies to
establish annual assessment and modification to salaried compensation.
o Contributed in making the Bedford Plant one of Ford Motor Company’s most
profitable operations.
• Negotiated two complete agreements, ( 1991, 1994 ) including benefits, wages and working
agreements, requiring an absolute mandate process be followed for the parent company.
• Negotiated first ever Ford agreement containing a second tier wage and benefit structure.
• Established and constructed the first medical unit at the facility.
• Served as Community Relations Chairman and Congressional Key Contact Representative
for Ford Electronics and Refrigeration.
• Partnered with IUE to establish an apprenticeable trade and journeyperson status for all
skilled trades at the facility. ( Plant operated with two skilled trade classifications ).
