Vice President, Information Technology 2007 – 2009
Executive role responsible for delivering information technology and process transformation services enabling
equipment syndication and securitization to investors and business partners in the Americas and Europe for
$200MM net income Capital Markets business. Managed $15MM annual expense and capital budget.
• Charged by GE Capital CIO to build an IT team and the technology infrastructure for a business that had
outgrown its current platform. Obtained CEO approval to drive multi-million dollar investment in
improvement projects covering sales, marketing, deal origination, operations, finance and investor servicing.
• Defined and executed in new Capital Markets IT leadership role with accountability covering all aspects of IT
strategy, software implementation planning, enterprise architecture of business and information
management applications, application development and operations support.
• Developed strategic technology roadmap and improved IT alignment with business partners by working to
gain consensus on IT automation opportunities and establishing joint ownership for programs and initiatives
along with an operating rhythm that demonstrated operational effectiveness and performance to plan.

Senior leadership role responsible for enterprise application development and support while significantly
increasing the business’ Internet presence. Developed and led a highly respected team of 20 IT professionals
and 50 global development resources. Managed $10MM annual expense budget.
• Consolidated seven risk underwriting systems into one global solution that standardized customer
documentation requirements and required deal approvals for $100B of annual business financing volume.
Renegotiated agreement with solution provider’s President to significantly improve global service levels.
• Implemented a web-based platform for newly acquired transportation lending business improving
turnaround on customer financing requests from two business days to five minutes. Honored with CEO
leadership award for involving customers and business partners in the design and implementation.
• Worked closely with senior leaders to completely redesign business and customer websites. Included
external customers in site design and acceptance testing resulting in five-fold increase in web traffic.
• Designated by CIO to design plan for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance that aligned with GE’s overall SOX
efforts. Directed annual certification efforts in the Americas, Europe and Asia for 60+ SOX applications.

Selected by senior leadership to lead IT acquisition integration and divestiture activities during a period of
unprecedented restructuring. Expanded role to include global security and crisis management responsibilities.
• Performed due diligence, developed integration strategy and obtained funding support for a global market
intelligence and asset remarketing platform that was a key component of newly acquired electronics
business strategy. Delivered platform in six-month period enabling business to grow to $100MM net income.
• Led the transfer of IT platforms and data for an aircraft simulation business that was sold to another
company. Renegotiated transition agreement with buyer’s President to reduce GE’s financial exposure and
achieved savings of $1MM by committing to and managing the execution in a reduced timeframe.
• Designated by CEO to develop a comprehensive business disaster recovery and continuity plan covering
worldwide facilities, people, supply chain and IT in response to the World Trade Center attacks.

Senior IT leader for the design and automation of standardized business processes and IT infrastructure for
three GE Capital Americas and Europe leasing businesses. Led a team of 50 IT professionals and 80 global
development resources. Managed $30MM annual expense and capital budget.
• Partnered with three CIOs to co-design an Americas and Pan-European operating platform, replacing 65
legacy systems developed in house and inherited via acquisitions achieving benefits of $80MM.
• Leveraged Siebel CRM deployment from one business to accelerate and successfully roll out across the
other two businesses, reducing implementation expenses by 50 percent.
• Re-engineered key front-end business processes resulting in the first ever deployment of automated credit
decision and asset valuation to reduce cycle time by 30 percent and provide faster customer response.
• Built new IT team and upgraded organizational capability through internal staffing and external talent
infusion while addressing individual development needs by forming competency and career path program.
