Manage purchasing, materials planning, bill of material structuring, production control, long term

supply contracts, sourcing, and shipping. Sales volume is over $32 million in mobile products for

international Hospitality Industry.

* Negotiate freight contracts with major carriers controlling shipping costs and managing

damage claims for in transit.

* Negotiate long term purchase agreement for major commodity materials including brass and

cutting-edge digital audio service to cable TV service providers. Managed automated broadcast

center equivalent to 26 radio stations. Developed products for both CATV and Satellite dish market.

* Successfully launched music service with several cable TV systems.

* Negotiated key production contracts with Japanese suppliers, including Mitsui and Mitsumi.

VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS & MANUFACTURING 1985 to 1990

Oversaw multi-plant, 600 employee, cable TV amplifier assembly operation and Quality Assurance

department for this $53 million public company. Initially recruited as VP/ General Manager for

Power Products Division (Anaheim, CA) then promoted to Corporate Officer. Executed

improvements to raise efficiency and effectiveness, increasing sales by $31 million, raising gross

margin by 62%. Presented plans and strategies to Board and Shareholders.

* Doubled output of hourly manufacturing personnel with WCM based manufacturing process

changes, including quick setups and cellular layouts.
