I've learned to have confidence in my ideas. Fight for them when I

need to. Collaborate when others have better ideas. I've got to test the

waters and quite frankly I love them. Get me a raft, I'll be in the ad

business awhile.

Server/Bartender

I sling beer bottles, take orders and come home covered in ketchup

and who knows what. But more than that, I people watch. Which is nice when

you're trying to figure out how to reach an audience. And the tips aren't

bad either.

I was able to see all sides of an advertising campaign and not just the

creative part.

Creative Intern

This internship taught me patience. It taught me that you're

inevitably going to have to redo pretty much everything you've worked on,

multiple times, but in the end the work pays off.

The Plea

I've spent the last 3 years of my life sucking in every bit of

advertising I can, talking to different kinds of people and gaining so many

different perspectives on advertising and life itself. No, I don't have

tons of job experience, but I do have tons of real-world experience. I

think in terms of big ideas, not simple executions. And I'm always waiting

for the next opportunity to create something, anything.
