Negotiated and managed all Logistical and Production functions for global

manufacturing and distribution facilities in 14 countries, maintaining

formal import / export procedures, regulatory compliance, and facilitation

of clearance of goods at worldwide destinations.

. Drove breakthrough logistical performance and delivered cost savings by

reducing domestic spend by 50% and internationally by 33% in first 2

months of accepting position. Used cost savings to create a logistics

profit center for company.

technical and administrative efforts of 30 office and warehouse employees

along with over 100 drivers and subcontractors involved in dry and

temperature controlled transportation, warehousing, sales, marketing,

federal regulatory compliance, fleet & asset management, truck and trailer

unit purchasing, licensing and maintenance, P&L accounting and logistics

operations.

Distribution Manager

Managed a staff of 23 professionals working in warehousing and packaging

departments. Directed all international and domestic transportation and

warehousing for 4 production facilities on the east coast and served as a

supply chain manager for 24 warehouses nationwide.

. Negotiated all international export contracts for shipments to 22

countries.

. Collaborated with the vice president of sales to create transportation

solutions that allowed sales staff to gain more market share with unique

customers.

. Turned around a major problem that was considered a logistical and

inventory management nightmare. Consolidated 24 distribution centers

into 6 while negotiating more economical storage and transportation

rates. Used additional volume to negotiate with remaining carriers to

reduce existing transportation costs and obtained an agreement for a 2

year price freeze. This effort saved the company $500K in shipping costs

over a 12 month period.
