trusted provider of Internet infrastructure services for the digital world. VeriSign’s global

infrastructure provides a critical layer of intelligence and security that enables key transactions,

protects data, and safely delivers information across myriad protocols and devices.

Technical Projects:

Project: Network Routing Directory – Provisioning System (NRD PS)

Description: The Network Routing Directory is a secure directory that serves as the central

repository for network and user information. The NRD Provisioning System is a web based

method of configuring intra domain centralized routing services and inter domain location

discovery services for NRD. Two tier architecture has the capabilities of providing user and

network information and also billing and reporting.

Role: Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

•Review of technical requirements and design documents.

•Write test cases based on Requirement specifications in Mercury Quality Center (MQC).

•Manual execution of test cases.

•Creating Test scenarios for Automation.

•Perform user interface testing for the GUI.

•Perform functional testing of the product feature wise according to the requirments.

•Automate scripts using Quick Test Professional (QTP).

•Perform regression testing on new releases.

•Log and track software defects in the bugzilla, a bug tracking tool.

•Bug verification and tracking of closure.

•Performing acceptance and compliance testing.

Projects Implemented (Academic):

Project: “3G Parser Engine A Comparative tool”:

This project presents the development of a GUI based package that takes care of selecting

an Xml document required for parsing. This is a useful kit for the programmer, which allows in

choosing the right parser for a given Xml document.

Concepts used: core JAVA, Servlets and Velocity.
