Alcoa is one of the largest aluminium produced company in the World. They

produce and transact million of tons of aluminium per year. It involves

extraction of aluminium from soil, refinery, mixing with other elements and

produce different shapes of aluminium metal depending on customer

requirements. They have their several plants and business units in all over

the world to produce metal and fulfil customer requirements. North America

Primary Metals (NAPM) is one of the business units, which handles aluminium

production and transaction to several customers in Canada, North America,

some part of Europe and in Brazil. To track, regulate and maintain this

huge number of transactions per year, Oracle Apps ERP solution has been

implemented in NAPM. This ERP solution makes their whole process easier,

with high efficiency and it saves lot of time, which increases their

revenue per year.

Project involved with new customizations, enhancements on existing

components, bug-fixing, new integration solutions. The modules implemented

are Distribution (Order Management, Shipping, Advanced Pricing,Purchasing,

Process Manufacturing), Shop Floor Transaction, Inbound & Outbound

Interface integrated with Interconnect and TIBCO.

Responsibilities:

. Analysis of requirements and preparation of MD60/RD60 after

discussions with functional consultants and users.

. Worked on Order to Cash workflow starting from Order Entry, book

order, allocation, shipping to load the data to AR through AR auto

invoice.

. Created different Item data in master organization and assigned to
