Contract Developer (Transaction Monitoring) - Provided backend support
for the Texas ERCOT energy market. This market has the largest
customer base in the company.

Software Engineer (2004-2005) - Primary function was to produce
detailed technical specifications to be turned over to an outsourced
offshore construction team. Close involvement with Business Analysts,
QA personnel, Project Managers and offshore resources was required.
Other duties included code reviews, unit testing and developing
prototypes for proof of concept when new technologies might be used.
. Lead designer for effort to produce a back end system that accepts
agent data and electronic documents. The VB.NET solution provided a
true paperless policy reporting process, saving the agent time and
money. The final design incorporated numerous .NET Web Services,
Windows Services, Message Queues, Scheduled Windows Applications
and XML documents.
. Lead designer/developer of an application to be used as a support
tool for the system mentioned above. This VB.NET application
provided audited access to the application data. Using WMI, it also
provided a means to monitor and control, in real time, the
components deployed on various servers.
