QUALITY ENGINEERING MANAGER / ISO 9000 / 14001 CHAMPION 4/06 to

Present. Responsible for all quality engineering activities including

managing daily activities of 4 bargaining unit engineers. Engineering

duties include developing and maintaining all quality system

documentation, process check sheets and standard work instructions,

working with cross functional teams to address and solve quality problems

which may arise internally and/or externally, and serving as a primary

contact for customers and vendors. ISO Champion duties include

performing and managing internal quality and environmental audits,

internal auditor training, corrective/preventive action follow up, and

management reviews.

PRESSROOM QUALITY SUPERVISOR 9/01 to 4/06. Responsible for product

quality and the supervision and evaluation of twelve Union (UAW)

represented quality inspectors within the Pressroom and CMM areas.

Duties include planning shift activities, allocation of manpower,

developing and implementing quality procedures which comply to MQAS / ISO

9000 requirements, as well as making quality decisions based on CMM

reports, visual inspections, and/or in-process fixture data.

MANUFACTURING QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM SUPERVISOR 6/00 to 9/01.

Responsibilities include auditing to ISO 9000 and ISO 14001International

Standards as the Lead Auditor of the internal assessment team at

Twinsburg Stamping, along with participation on internal audit teams as

an assessor within other DaimlerChrysler facilities. Represent Twinsburg

Stamping on issues concerning external third-party assessments. Provide

in-house internal assessor training, which includes auditing techniques

and issuing nonconformances. Provide other internal training in System

9000 Document Control Software and Lotus Notes Software programs. Chair

internal workshops, which include both management and UAW personnel in

order to address and solve internal problems. Other responsibilities

include control of quality system documentation, corrective action

issuance and follow up, and management review activities.

ISO 9000 / QS 9000 QUALITY SYSTEM LEAD AUDITOR 1/98 to 6/00. For this

third-party quality system registrar, responsible for planning,

organizing, directing, conducting and reporting ISO 9000 / QS 9000

registration and continuous assessment audits within the United States,

Canada and Mexico. Audit experience includes automotive assembly plants,

automotive suppliers, gray and ductile iron foundries, chemical and

polymer plants, just to name a few. Lead Auditor duties included quality

system documentation review for compliance to requirements, conducting

opening and closing meetings, developing audit agendas for the audit

team, consulting with the audit team and participating in decisions for

recommending registrations, full or partial reassessments if quality

systems were not effectively implemented, or continued compliance to

audited standards, procedures and/or scope of registration. Other duties

included interviewing company personnel, including top and middle

audited standards and procedures, issuing nonconformances which required

QS 9000 COORDINATOR / SQA REPRESENTATIVE 3/97 to 1/98. For this ISO 9002

/ QS 9000 registered tier-two supplier to the automotive industry, as

well as the heavy truck and railroad industries, responsible for the

maintenance and improvement of ISO 9002 / QS 9000 program, as well as

training of employees in nondestructive testing methods and statistical

process control. Duties included organizing, directing, scheduling and

conducting first and second-party audits, developing, controlling and

distributing quality system procedures and work instructions utilizing

quality system audits.
