Contract IT Recruiter

Responsibilities:

2.5 month contract assignment to assist in staffing IT initiatives within both Cars.com and

Apartments.com verticals.

Successfully placed 6 IT professionals in a 2.5 month period, starting with a brand new pipeline.

Performed full life cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, scheduling with managers,

and candidate negotiations.

ThoughtWorks, Inc., Chicago, IL September 2007 – July 2008

Corporate Technical Recruiter

Responsibilities:

Focused on finding and recruiting experienced application software developers in the C#, Java,

and Ruby language domains, as well as QA Analysts and Project Managers with high end

consulting skills.

Negotiated salary, bonuses, vacation, terms, and immigration issues for all offered candidates.

Overall, brought in 22 professional services hires (at a variety of levels), and 2 internal finance

hires. During that time, had only 3 declined offers for an acceptance rate of 89%.

Led a recruiting initiative in our San Francisco market to identify and recruit fresh talent for new,

and prospective engagements. Successfully hired 7 new sr. level technical professionals over

Technical Recruiter

Screen resumes and select applicants in accordance with specific technical job orders.

Interview, evaluate, and reference candidates to determine compatibility to orders as well as

current skill level.

Took control of 3 major accounts in Chicago and built a revenue stream of over $4,000/weekly

in 2 months.

Maintain a high number of active consultants. Average number of active consultants at any

given time was 12 14 with weekly margins totaling 8K – 12K weekly.

Served as a dedicated, tier 1 recruiter to 5 of the largest brand name companies in the Chicago

market. Submitted, interviewed, and successfully placed various technical professionals across a

analysts, IT security, and support.
