Unilever Raeford manufactures Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant Sticks,
Shampoo's and Body Wash Liquids. The
site consists of 7 Production lines, with a plant operating budget
exceeding $35 million. The plant output
exceeds 400 million units of Personal Care items, contributing over
$900 million in revenue for the region. The
site successfully challenged for the TPM Level 2 Consistency award
through the Japanese Institute of Plant
Maintenance (JIPM).
. Partnered with Quality Manager to reduce finished good rejections
by 60% compared with previous year
. Improved inventory accuracy to 98.5% while consuming 1 billion
components and 100 million pounds of raw materials
. Redesigned the material flow within the site to reduce incoming

I was selected the technology lead for all Promotional Pack assembly
requirements for the region across all personal care categories. This

excess of 200 million units from internal site to selected contract
manufacturers
. Implemented a 'through the wall' operation for all Promotional Pack
assembly requirements at two of our largest DC's. Project realized
$8 million in labor and freight savings
. Managed the startup of a new contract manufacturer to deliver major
launch of new platform in US market, Axe body spray

brands such as Q Tips, Dove bar soap and Snuggle fabric softener.

period utilizing strategic sourcing initiatives developed in
