I am a highly motivated professional and competent Health, Safety &
Environment Practitioner with over ten years experience. A goal oriented
team player who is diligent and reliable and possesses the ability to make
strong and positive judgments resulting in problem resolutions. An
excellent communicator, leader and manager who adopts a proactive,
motivated and results orientated approach to all endeavors, remaining calm
under pressure.
Recent accomplishments include working as a Contractor in Iraq under LOGCAP
III, with the Department of Defense as a Health, Safety and Environmental
Coordinator. Assisted in large multi site construction project audits and
inspections, Accident investigations, compliance training, and hazard
analysis were part of my daily required tasks. This experience allowed me
professional growth in my abilities, and gave me the opportunity to assist
the United States Military in ensuring their health and safety inside the
military bases.
My past experience in Manufacturing and Construction related fields will
assist me in performing my required duties in a professional manner. My
past experience in refineries, steel mills, fossil fuel power generation,
manufacturing facilities, and petrol chemical sites, allow me depth and
diversity in identifying behavior based safety practices and quality
methodologies.
My current certifications to, ISO 9001-2000 IRCA and RABQSA Certified Lead
Auditor, engineering knowledge of ASTM methodologies and understanding of
UL allow me to be value add to your organization. I am also a certified
OSHA 501 trainer with over 10 years of Safety experience. I hold a Quality
Six Sigma BB certification as recognized with GE, with letters of
recommendation in this related area. I have recently received FEMA
certifications in various areas as well as my CST (Chemical Safety
Technician) certifications from the International Association of Safety
Professionals.
I am a member in good standing with the American Society of Safety
Engineers and the International Association of Safety Professionals.
