In his role as a Lead Carpenter, Mr. Paleczka specializes in remodeling from inception to completion starting with demolition, and ending with finished work. His tasks range from, but are not limited to installing drywall, windows, skylights, exterior and interior doors, finished interior and exterior trim, and increasing/decreasing ceiling heights. In particular, Mr. Paleczka did the trim work (trimmed 80 windows, columns, beams, installed plexi glass, etc.) for a commercial library in Prince William county supporting New Era Construction. Mr. Paleczka also built a two-story addition for a residential home, including exterior trim work and new window installation.

Lead Carpenter

June 1993 – June 1999

As a Lead Carpenter, Mr. Paleczka specialized in kitchen, sunroom, bath, and deck additions. These additions ranged from small bump outs to large multi-level additions with cathedral and flat ceilings. In this role, Mr. Paleczka performed the following, but not limited to installed and repaired exterior decks and fences, mixed and poured cement to prepare sites, demolition, installed load bearing beams, framing, setup rafters, ridge beam, fascia and freeze boards, tyvek, exterior trim, and insulation. Coordinated with electricians to ensure all electrical work was completed prior to drywall.

In addition, Mr. Paleczka finished custom basements for various clients, including building custom bars (with hung coffered ceilings and custom base cabinet enclosures for a framed in aquarium), guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
