. Balanced Ternary Calculator: Developed a GUI calculator for Balanced

Ternary numbers.

. Playfair Cipher: Implemented the Playfair Cipher algorithm by enciphering

and deciphering secret messages.

. Buffer Overflow - The project was implemented using a 'C' code using a

gcc compiler on the Unix Platform.

. Intrusion detection system - Developed IDS that monitors traffic to

or from a single host on the network in JAVA.

. Cryptography - Developed the Simplified DES and Triple SDES algorithms in

JAVA.

. Secure Distributed Banking - Designed and implemented a secure

protocol for authentication and secure communication in a distributed

system consisting of a bank server and several ATMs, which are

connected through insecure communication channels. Coding language was

JAVA.

. DTMF tone generation and detection - The project dealt with the

implementation of the DTMF codec on the TMS320C54x.The frequency value

of each number on a telephone keypad is calculated using the 8

frequencies (4LF and 4HF) allotted. Project was implemented using

MATLAB and 'C' programming.

. Micromouse - Designed a four-wheeled mouse shaped robot with a high

level of sensitivity using C language. The main focus of this project

dealt with the maneuverability and mobility of the system.
