notes 756534 and 756535 by using Import method, and the rest is assigned by

Project: HCM System Combined Upgrade & Unicode conversion &
Pilot projects for Unicode conversion for bidding purpose.
Client is upgrading their HR (HCM) SAP R/3 system from 4.7 Ext 2.0 (SP61)
to ECC 6.0 with Unicode conversion of single code page system. It is a
technical upgrade of HCM system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 using combined upgrade
& Unicode conversion with resource minimized strategy.
Upgrade is done On HP-PARISC HP-UX 11.23 server and ECC6.0 installation and
system copy (Import is done on to HP- Itanium M/c). My responsibility is to
upgrade the 4.7 system and Unicode preparation, pre-conversion and pre-
export conversion phases are carried out on HP-PARISC i.e UCCHECK,
RSREFILL, UMG_ADD_PREP_STEP, SMLT and SPUMG etc.
Install Oracle 10.2.02 on HP-Itanium, Install Unicode ECC 6.0 on HP-
Itanium, Using system copy with R3Load is imported into Ecc6.0 on HP-
Itanium. Use of distribution Monitor to run parallel export/import on pa-
risc and itanium servers. Other tasks involved are: Confirming the SMLT.
Post-conversion activities, Post-installation steps, Re-configure of RFC's,
Install of sap license.
Tuning default and instance profile parameters etc.
Combined Upgrade & Unicode conversion of HCM system with 4.7 on HP_PARISC
to ECC 6.0 SP11 on HP-Itanium.
Highlights of this project are Execution of prepare and pre-conversion
steps of Unicode conversion while executing the Prepare step of Upgrade and
use of Distribution Monitor for R3load export/import of the data using
table/package split for top 20 tables based on DB02 and Oracle upgrade from
9.2.0.7 to 10.2.0.2.
Unicode conversion of ECC 5.0 was 6.40 and Basis SP14. (PILOT)
This is only a Unicode conversion of Non-Unicode ECC 5.0 was 6.40 and SP 14
to ECC 5.0 was 6.40 with SP14 Unicode kernel. Highlights are, as the
support pack is at very lower level, I had to apply snotes and build some
reports manually, which will run as part of UMG_ADD_PREP_STEP.

This is only a Unicode conversion of Non-Unicode BI 7.0 and SP 11 to SRM NW
