Substitute teacher spanning five years for grades K-12. Completed a
long-term three-month assignment managing the library at Prairieland
Elementary school and was a regular substitute for both librarians
employed there. Library duties included preparing all library computers
for the day, assigning work to volunteer staff, monitoring book check
in/checkout procedures for students, writing up late-slips, working with
teaching staff to check out and train on equipment usage (overheads,
video cameras, laptops, software, etc.), training students about computer
technology and programs (PowerPoint, Word, on-line card catalogue, etc.)
via Smart board instruction, assisting students in completion of computer
