Project Abstract Systems Management Information Library for the
Enterprise (SMILE) is an in-house application developed
on .Net. The project involved completely rebuilding the
application from scratch on .Net platform to comply with
MetLife approved technology stack and to improve
scalability, maintainability and performance of the
application.
SMILE is a central portal for Enterprise Systems
Management group and its internal customers. It
integrates different enterprise management products and
forms the central presentation application providing a
consistent look and feel to the users.
Task Tracker is one of the modules in the SMILE used to
automate the workflow and track the work (service
requests & problem tickets) assigned to different groups
in the organization. It incorporates Task Status "New",
"Assigned", "Reassigned", "On Hold", "In progress",
"Completed", "Closed" & "Cancelled" and workflow actions
"Create", "Assign", "Reassign", "Sub Task", etc. It also
has inbuilt features to pre-populate several fields in
the web forms from existing data sources based on the
context

Project Abstract Web Based Timesheet System is an in-house application
developed to cater to the needs of the small but rapidly
growing software services organization which had to
report utilization of the resources (employees) working
on different projects and charge it back to the
allocated projects.
This web enabled time sheet management system provides a
user friendly interface to enter and keep track of
various activities involved during software project
lifecycle. The application has features to enter time
sheets, approve time sheets, enter project related
details, metrics collation and generating various
reports.
