Ohio facility

create/receive in shop orders

. Maintain proper inventory levels of raw materials and manufactured

intermediate items for two production facilities. There are roughly

14,000 active SKU's at each of these facilities.

. The two facilities represent over half of Givaudan's North American

production.

. Inventory levels of raw materials and intermediate items represent a

fluctuating value of around $32 million dollars with 5.8-6 inventory

turns per year.

. Monitor the activity of 6-8 raw material buyers and 5 senior buyers to

ensure that all EOQ lot sizes and minimum balances are correct and

adhered to.

. Coordinate with 12 production planners and purchasing on potential delays

in production and manufacturing constraints.

. Evaluate minimum balances and economic order quantities to determine if a

change is required to meet the demands of a change in business, change in

manufacturing methods or raw material availability.

. Communicate with customer service to create manufacturing lead times for

new formulas.

. Work with quality control on material rejections for possible fixes to

manufactured items.

. Maintain and manipulate queries and databases to extract data from our

warehouse manager system and AS400 systems.

. Interpret data from queries and spreadsheets to present summaries to

supervisors, production planners, and the purchasing department.

. Work to reduce the days of standard inventory without sacrificing service

levels.

. Procure all raw materials for production of assigned products.

. Negotiation of pricing with vendors with sales reps and distributors

. Supplier analysis for the approval of new vendors and materials used in

production

. Industry analysis of product trends

. Leveraging global purchasing volumes for pricing discounts

. Utilize global contracts for volume discounts and increased visibility of

usage.
