Northrop Grumman, Lake Charles, LA - Jan 2011 to present

Avionics

Current position as lead avionis for A crew on the KC-10 aircraft at Lake Charles, also on the KC-10 rig crew. Responsible for performing test according to the maintaince manuel on C-2 and C-4 checks, also troubleshooting all in coming desrepancies. Umong several things i have installed sevaral mods to the KC-10, performed all duties on or ahead of schedule without any desrepancies, and have been involved with the rigging of 4 aircraft. Upon completion of my assigned duties im also invovled with engine replacments, panel clossures, gear replacments and any other heavy task. With over 9 years of experiance in reading blue prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics makes myself an valuable person on any crew.

Test Electrician

On a small team of highly qualified electricians tasked to find, correct, and insure that the most important pieces of equipment (including heavy gauge,coaixal cable, and wave guide systems) were installed and hooked up according to procedure. After all test run accordingly we brought the equipment on line and finished the test according to manufactures specifications.

Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, Mississippi – May 03 to Jan 08

E-5/E-6 Construction Steelworker

Lead man over a crew of 12 construction men on a variety of construction projects both in and outside United States. Deployments overseas included Afghanastan, Pohnpei, Spain and Greece. In Pohnpei, my team was responsible for drilling 12 fresh water wells for indigenous native population. Prior to having the wells, Pohnpei suffered many water related plagues with fatality rates as high as 30%. In Spain and Greece, my team was responsible for building airfields and associated buildings for US bases located in these countries. All overseas assignments for which my team participated in were completed on or ahead of schedule.

Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida January 02 - May 03

E-4 Aircraft Electrician

Responsible for all aspects of electrical maintenance and modification on the P-3 program. Responsibilities included Built In Test (BIT) verification of all aircraft subsystems and Line Replaceable Units (LRU), wire continuity testing of installed harness assemblies, bench-side and on aircraft testing of "new" subassemblies being installed, investigating, analyzing, and determining cause and corrective action for major malfunctions related to the electrical subsystem components on the P-3. During my tenure at JAX, I was moved into positions of increasing responsibility and was a lead man upon my transferring to Seabees.
